The Challenge
- A Tier 1 automotive supplier develops a BRM (Boost Recuperation Machine) for an OEM. The OEM provided security relevant client requirements that must be met.
The Approach
- A structured analysis of the OEM requirements was performed regarding feasibility with the BRM Hardware
- Based on this, security requirements including verification criteria were formulated in a process conform manner on system and software level using the PTC Integrity software
- Traceability between client requirements, system requirements and software requirements was established
Result & Added Value
- OEM requirements were analyzed and solutions for possible gaps were clarified together with the OEM and the Tier 1 supplier
- System and software level security requirements were documented in accordance with the requirements engineering process
- Verification criteria for testing the security requirements on system level were formulated
- Traceability to OEM security requirements was ensured
- Traceability between software and system requirements was ensured
