The Challenge
- Overall system consists of supplied components of various subcontractors.
- In the concept of the communication plan, besides IT security, further requirements of the client have to be taken into account.
The Approach
- Information was obtained from the person responsible for the respective components at the client’s site or agreed with the relevant subcontractors.
- Based on this information and in line with relevant IT security requirements, a network concept was created.
- After a plausibility check, the configuration in the client’s integration environment was commissioned and documented.
Result & Added Value
- Documentation of the requirements of the network concept
- documented network concept for the components in the overall system
- Commissioning the configuration in the integration environment
- By looking at the overall system, it was also possible to take into account requirements that were not apparent from the point of view of individual components.
- The commissioning also served to validate the delivered concept.
