AQAP 2210 – The new NATO standard: Understand tailoring based on the criticality of the project

With the publication of the NATO standard AQAP 2210, Edition B in 2022, the quality management requirements for software projects in the defense industry have been updated. AQAP 2210 is almost always contractually required today when software is developed for the armed forces of NATO member states.

To ensure the quality of the software development process, these processes must be carefully planned, controlled and continuously improved. The aim is to reduce, eliminate and ideally completely avoid quality defects.
