Every employee at INVENSITY is accompanied by an experienced mentor from day one. The goal of mentoring is to support the employee (mentee) in his or her personal development and career planning.
The mentor is not a supervisor, leader or teacher. The mentor’s task is to be a role model and to live the values of INVENSITY as a consultant and promoter, to pass on his or her experience and to be a contact person in case of conflicts and challenges.
The mentee has the opportunity to discover and develop his (hidden) abilities during the mentoring and to develop his personality according to his values. Mentoring serves as a constant orientation aid to ensure that the mentee achieves the development goals agreed upon in the semi-annual appraisal interview.
The relationship between mentee and mentor is therefore long-term and is characterized by trust and confidentiality. The mentee can also proactively help shape the content of the discussion. In regular meetings, they discuss whatever moves you. Thus, in addition to topics such as administrative processes, successful networking, methods in project work, the main focus is on career and development.
Part of the development of every employee is the goal of becoming a mentor at some point. With increasing professionalism and seniority, you will mentor mentees and share your experiences with them.
At INVENSITY, the values and visions as well as methods for the mentoring program are determined by the Mentoring Board and are passed on and communicated by the Academy in workshops and training sessions. In mentoring, you will find all the core values of INVENSITY: trust, respect, responsibility, sincerity, commitment and fairness. Mentor and mentee learn to deal professionally with recognition, praise and criticism. Both are committed to taking responsibility and cultivate transparent communication with each other, with colleagues and with management.
