Wiesbaden/Flörsheim, January 2026 – The technology and innovation consultancy INVENSITY GmbH has entered a strategic partnership with ALEE – Alliance des laboratoires d’essai européenne GmbH. Together, the partners will combine their expertise to offer vehicle manufacturers and suppliers comprehensive services in vehicle and component homologation, safety, and cybersecurity assessment.

Following a successful audit by the German Type Approval Authority (Kraftfahrt Bundesamt, KBA), INVENSITY and ALEE are now officially authorized to provide homologation services directly and to sign related technical reports on behalf of the KBA. This enables manufacturers to access an integrated one-stop solution – from technical testing and safety or cybersecurity assessments to final approval documentation.

«Through our cooperation with ALEE, we are expanding our consulting portfolio into a demanding, regulation-driven field that aligns perfectly with our safety and cybersecurity expertise,» explains Sascha Hackmann, Head of Automated Driving at INVENSITY. «Our clients benefit from a seamless end-to-end service across the entire type approval process – efficient, practical, and fully compliant with the latest standards.»

Integrated services in the type approval process

Within this partnership, ALEE acts as a Technical Service (TS) officially designated by the KBA, drawing from their strong background in testing, quality management, and certification in line with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020. INVENSITY complements these capabilities with deep project experience in Functional Safety (FuSa), Cybersecurity, and Systems Engineering.

The joint aim is to provide a fully integrated offering of testing and consulting services that bridge technical testing, risk analysis, and safety evaluations. This combined approach addresses the growing overlap between safety-critical vehicle components, software development processes, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Homologation from a single source – safe, efficient, and resilient

Manufacturers benefit from streamlined processes, reduced interfaces, and attractive conditions. The modular service portfolio covers all areas from safety assessments, cybersecurity audits, and compliance testing to type approval documentation – both nationally and internationally.
