The technology and management consultancy INVENSITY GmbH advised United Robotics Group (URG), a subsidiary of RAG-Stiftung Beteiligungsgesellschaft (RSBG SE), on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Spanish company Robotnik Automation S.L.L. and conducted the commercial and technical due diligence.

With this acquisition, United Robotics Group takes another important step in expanding its leadership position in the European robotics market through organic growth as well as acquisitions.

Robotnik, headquartered in Valencia, is a leader in the design, manufacture and sales of mobile robots and manipulators. The company has extensive expertise in the development of engineering and R&D projects.

INVENSITY has already been mandated several times in recent years for commercial and/or technical due diligence in the field of automation and robotics, including the acquisition of Softbank Robotics Europe by URG at the beginning of 2022. Here, the consulting firm made particular use of its technology and product know-how from the numerous consulting projects.
