The main source of innovation projects is our consultants’ creativity
INVENSITY consultants are exceptionally well-qualified, dedicated and creative engineers and scientists. The combination of their creativity with experience in highly diverse industries leads to ideas which are taken up and further developed by the innovation center. This creativity is the most important source for prompting INVENSITY innovation projects. After joining INVENSITY and at regular intervals thereafter, each consultant takes part in innovation discussions in which ideas are addressed, discussed and, following a brief evaluation phase, are stored in an ideas repository. This ideas repository is regularly combed through in the hope of discovering new innovation projects.
The INVENSITY innovation center enjoys a great deal of freedom, enabling it to pursue somewhat more wacky or unusual ideas. It goes without saying that we naturally follow our clients’ wishes, or research areas and findings from universities and colleges, and up-to-date innovations by other companies entering the market. This creates four additional sources of ideas for INVENSITY innovation projects on top of our innovation discussions with our consultants.
Innovation projects, too, must be effective and efficient
The systematic management of innovation projects is not just crucial for their success. The efficient execution of projects always means creating scope for further projects and investigating ideas quickly in terms of their marketability. The process of executing innovation projects is divided into five steps.
Research and assessing the topic play a vital role in this. An innovation’s innovative strength and market potential are derived from these two steps. This is the crucial step from idea to innovation. The processing of projects is carried out by team members of the innovation center, who receive expert support from INVENSITY staff and external cooperation partners. A final report and final evaluation ensure that INVENSITY learns from every innovation project and improves its own innovation management process.
For consultants, the documenting and utilization of previous results is confirmation of their achievement
The results of the innovation center’s work are compiled in innovation reports and are presented to clients and partners. Development partners and clients can then make use of the results in their own specific products or processes.
