Detailed description of the project:
Implementation of different procedures for image processing and object recognition
Binarization using thresholding techniques such as the Otsu or Wellner method for adapting to the lighting situation
Template matching technique for object recognition using correlation and fast Fourier transform (FFT), implementation and testing of algorithms
Optimization of algorithms with regard to limited resources and necessary speed in the embedded environment, realization of the system on a smartphone
