“Don't find fault, find a remedy.”
Henry Ford
INVENSITY has bundled its employees’ expertise in the safety management CoE and had thus collected well-founded knowledge relating to safety standards and methodologies, which can be used to competently respond to increasing demand.
Experience and new insights are regularly passed on to staff in training courses and are made available for future projects in INVENSITY’s own knowledge management system.
The safety management CoE continuously ensures the professional development of its staff. The following measures ensure the successful exchange of information and expertise:
Fortnightly Meetings
The team members of the safety management CoE meet every two weeks to exchange information and coordinate internal projects. Internal projects include: creating training courses, introducing new standards, incorporating best practices in INVENSITY’s own knowledge database, and much more.
CoE Day
The CoE Day is in particular devoted to developing the Center of Excellence itself. Strategic decisions are made on this day, for instance: determining the areas in which the safety management CoE needs to acquire additional knowledge, planning conferences and attendance, the status quo of cooperation with universities and institutions. Training courses on new developments in safety management are also held on the CoE Day.
Core Competences of the Safety Management CoE
Functional Safety Management
Our experts in the field of functional safety management assist their clients in the introduction and implementation of projects in the area of ensuring functional safety. This includes, in particular, the general designing and establishment of safety management projects with regard to the methods and processes to be employed and the planning and preparation of assessments and audits.
System Safety Development
The drafting and implementation of safety-related requirements is a necessary, if time-consuming, task. Before the company's own staff can be deployed, it is necessary to give them extensive training in the area of safety management and in the use of the tools employed.
System Safety Development is glad to support you in meeting this challenge and, if required, will take over part or all of the specifications for safety-related requirements
Reliability Analysis & Engineering
The implementation of safety management projects requires the use of numerous methods for identifying sources of risks, the consequences of defects, grading the danger for certain risks, and much more. In the past numerous tools were developed for this purpose, the variety of which makes it difficult to select the right tools. Thanks to their extensive experience, the INVENSITY consultants will be happy to assist you in selecting the right methods and tools.
As many companies already use certain methods to reduce risks, and yet only exploit a small proportion of the overall potential, INVENSITY offers a modular method concept from which the client can select the necessary methods as required and based on advice received beforehand.
Market Research & Development
Inadequate market research can limit innovation when technology-driven innovations are assigned to the wrong clients or fields of application.
The Market Research & Development working group monitors the safety market and identifies new trends, methods and standards at an early stage. A systematic investigation of the market highlights innovations worthy of development. These new developments are assigned to the right standards, industries, clients and fields of application, taking into account synergies and premises.
Training Courses
The particular benefit of INVENSITY is the practical experience gained by its consultants during their countless projects, in addition to their existing theoretical knowledge. The training courses, which not only teach INVENSITY’s clients the theoretical basics but also use a variety of examples to provide a tool that enables the projects to be realized independently, are designed correspondingly.
